Winter Carnival Time In McCall Idaho
Welcome to the 49th McCall Idaho Winter Carnival!
Is there anybody in the mood for snow sculpture competitions, a Mardi Gras parade, a pancake breakfast, polar bear plunge, live theater, and figure-skating?
After seeing McCall's beautiful Payette Lake in the summer, it was a shock to the lake totally covered in ice!
All the snow sculptures were amazing, but our favorite was the sphinx. When you walked inside the pyramid snow sculpture, you were greeted by a sarchopagus, three panels of hieroglyphs, two Egyptian princes, and two mummies! Amazing!
